Historical Photographs & Other Images

eastchester_350_collage

This collection of historical photographs, maps, paintings, drawings and etchings is first presented here by community – Eastchester, Tuckahoe and Bronxville. Each image is denoted by title and date if known.  Also included are photographs and other images of St. Paul’s Church, Eastchester. This National Historic Site is located in the present-day City of Mt. Vernon, which was formerly a village in the Town of Eastchester.  These images are offered for enjoyment and the use of students who might wish to incorporate them in essays, videos or other creative projects.  These catalogs will continue to grow as entries are submitted and approved for inclusion.

In the catalogs each image is described with a simple caption and date, if known.  Other descriptions may also be included, as well as the name of the repository that has lent the original photograph, painting, drawing, map, etching, etc. to this website.  Researchers may contact these institutions directly for additional information.
